The pronouncation of the Argentine Spanish is different from the one in other Latinamerican countries. It is called Castellano.
In some regions some native Indigenious languages are still spoken like Quechua and Mapudungun.

Flag: Blue is a symbol for the sky, white for the snow-covered peaks of the Andes. The design of the flag symbolizes the location of the Southamerican continent between the two oceans. The Sun of May in the middle is moin the middle is modeled after the symbol of Inti, the Incan god of the Sun and it reminds of the May Revolution in 1810. Area: 2.766.890 km2

More than 90% of the populations descend from Europeans (36% from Italians, 29% from Spaniards). About 10% are Mestizos (European/Native American Indigenious)- A minority are direct descendents from the 30 indigenious tribes.
