Along the western border the Andes mountain range is located, which is
the longest mountain range on Earth. Here you also can find the two

domiated by cacti and briars. The ceibo flower is the national flower
of Argentina. The Andes also are a home for a.o. condors, llamas,
guanacos, and mountain lions.
In the North there are rain forests with a great biodiversity. Many
tropical plants are growing there like Quebracho tree and Brazilian Rosewood.
Also many animal species are living there, among them jaguars, ocelots,
hummingbirds, parrots, and tapirs.
In the central north there´s the Gran Chaco, in the east the highlands of the
Misiolands of the
Misiones province, where the impressive Iguazú Falls are located.
West and south from Buenos Aires is the Pampas, the agricultural centre auf
the country. Much of the area is used for grazing cattle. Vegetation
typically includes perennial grasses and herbs. In addition to birds there
can also be found some mammals like the Maned Wolf, the Geoffroy´s Cat and
the armadillo.
Between the Pampas and the Andes there´s the Sierras Pampeanas mountain range, and
